Programs and Ministries
Would you like to become involved in these ministries? Please call the Parish office or contact the Rector.
WORSHIP MINISTRIES
Lectors, acolytes, Eucharistic ministers and Eucharistic visitors assist with worship services in a variety of ways. Read more about these groups here.
OUTREACH
The Outreach Committee is charged with helping the parish live out the gospel imperative to love our neighbor as ourselves and to care for the least among us. Read more about the work of the Outreach Committee here.
EVANGELISM
The Evangelism Committee has a two-fold task: reaching out to the wider world to invite them to share in the "good news" that is the gospel, and welcoming newcomers into our midst. The Evangelism Committee looks for ways to become part of our larger community (participating in the Pumpkin Festival, for example), and to invite others to get to know us (hosting a community picnic, for example),
Church School meets each Sunday at 9:45. Children gather in the Parish Hall for a prayer with the Rector, then proceed to class which revolves around the Episcopal Children's Curriculum. The children join their families for Eucharist during the exchange of the peace.

EPISCOPAL CHURCH WOMEN
Trinity's ECW meets monthly and holds periodic bake sales, tag sales and other fundraisers; proceeds go to various charitable causes.
HOT MEAL MINISTRY
Volunteers provide a hot meal to the residents of Spooner House, a local homeless shelter.
TELEPHONE PRAYER CHAIN
A group of parishioners, maintaining confidentiality, pray for those in need,in and out of our parish. Most are prayers for healing, but others are prayers of thanks.
PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY
Started in September 2003, our prayer shawl volunteers have crocheted or knitted more than 2000 prayer shawls, which are blessed and sent out to those who are sick or in other need. Prayer shawls are available to all, without charge.
MAKING OUR CHURCH AVAILABLE TO THE COMMUNITY
Several community groups use our facilities for meeting space, including a Boy Scout troop, a Cub Scout group, AA, the Red Cross for blood drives, and the Visiting Nurse’s Association. The Seymour Oxford Clergy Association Food Bank is housed in the basement of Trinity Church, as well as the privately run Country Bear Nursery School.
The friendly church on the hill...things are happening at Trinity Church; come and grow with us!
